Visits to Coquitlam & POCO & Keith's 70th Birthday

I have been blessed with 3 beautiful granddaughters through my 2 wonderful stepsons and their equally wonderful partners.

In January we went for a quick visit to Adam, Chrissy, Chloe and Lila.
We could not see the other family as they were sick with Covid.
January 11 ~ This is 3 year old Chloe and I, unknown to us, I was contracting CoVid 19. That's life!

Pops with ever smiling almost 1 year old Lila

"Tiny Human" with such gorgeous blue eyes.

A month later we were able to visit Justin, Cookie and 1 year old Jersey. The previous month they had CoVid.

Jersey loves playing with toys that her creative Momma has made for her.

She is a busy girl, it was not easy to get her to stay still long enough for a photo.

Cookie is such a loving person, it shows in all of her encounters with adults, children and animals.

It is so heartwarming to witness my stepsons step so expertly into the role of fatherhood.

Always (or almost always!) with such good humour.

Elmo's song, forever stuck in my head!

Sharing a giggle.

POP'S 70TH BIRTHDAY WEEKEND
The family traveled over on the ferry and stayed at the nearby Huntingdon Hotel.

Chloe drove home!

The next morning (the actual BirthDay!) we all walked to Beacon Hill Park
where we enjoyed the Children's Farm.
Later in the Harbour Club Room ...
Party Girl!

My Old Man
It seemed Weird after 2 years of CoVid to actually blow out the candles.

Checking out the birthday card.

Enjoying our last few minutes together.

Keith and I now have a newfound respect for our many friends that have 3 or more grandchildren over as a regular occurrence. We enjoyed every second but I have to admit, we did enjoy the quiet once everyone was gone. That said, we cannot wait to see them all again.
I am so fortunate to be blessed with my loving step family.
