A 1 km walk in the rain from our hotel to get back to the camino. When we stopped for breakfast I was excited to see they offered eggs. I shouldn't have bothered, undercooked eggs do not sit well.
The good news was that the rain had stopped falling and sun starting to peek through the clouds.
A gradual uphill climb soon brought us into the fog.
The summit
There was apparently a gorgeous view which of course we did not see. But the fog brings a beauty of its own.
Martina and Danielle
The fog soon cleared up and we could see forever.
Rio Camba
We were counting pilgrims and coming to the conclusion that we would not be getting a bed in the 20 bed albergue in Campobecerros. Thankfully we were mistaken, not sure where the others ended up but we even got bottom bunks.
The delightful owner of the bar where we had an excellent lunch. Vegetable soup, salad and much more. I was craving vegetables.
Great fun and conversation over good food with Danielle and Martina.
Another wonderful day on the camino.
